Slips, Trips and Falls – The Law
Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires all Employers to ensure that floors are safe and further requires a Risk Assessment on the Floors to prevent Slips, Trips and Falls.
2007 General Application Regulations require every Employer to ensure floors are not slippery.
Occupiers Liability Act 1995 states that all occupiers must ensure the premises is safe for visitors and that they do not suffer injury or damage as a result of any danger existing thereon.
